Philipos was 20, from a Greek family, and came from Minden.
What happened
In the early hours of 23 June 2024, Philipos was beaten and kicked to the ground in the Kurpark in Bad Oeynhausen after a school-leavers' party. He died of his head injuries two days later. In May 2025 the Bielefeld Regional Court sentenced the main attacker to nine years' youth custody; the verdict became final in 2026.
