Mauranne was 20, a medical student, and came from Éguilles.
What happened
On Sunday 1 October 2017, Mauranne and her cousin Laura Paumier were stabbed to death outside Saint-Charles station in Marseille. The attacker was shot dead at the scene by soldiers of Operation Sentinelle, so there was no trial. A year later a memorial plaque was unveiled at the station.
