Lisa Holm
Died 7 June 2015
Who they were
Lisa was 17, from Skövde, and had a summer job at a café in Blomberg near Kinnekulle. When she disappeared, Missing People set a record for the number of volunteers searching for her. Around 600 people – many of them young people her age, classmates and teachers – gathered for a memorial service in Skövde, and her family kept her funeral open so everyone could say goodbye.
What happened
On the evening of Sunday 7 June 2015, Lisa was due to ride home from her summer job on her moped but never arrived. She was found dead five days later. A Lithuanian man working locally was convicted of her murder. In February 2016 the Göta Court of Appeal upheld life imprisonment and expulsion.
