What happened
On 23 March 2018, Hervé was shot in the Super U in Trèbes as he was putting his shopping on the checkout belt. That day the attacker killed four people in Carcassonne and in the Super U supermarket in Trèbes. He was shot dead by the GIGN gendarmerie unit during the assault, so there was no trial.
