Darlene was 64 and American. She had planned to fly home to Florida the following day.
What happened
On the evening of 3 August 2016, six people were stabbed in Russell Square in London. Darlene died of her injuries. The attacker admitted killing her and in February 2017 was ordered to be detained indefinitely in a high-security psychiatric hospital.
