Christian was 50 and head butcher at the Super U supermarket in Trèbes.
What happened
On 23 March 2018, Christian was shot seconds after the attacker entered the supermarket, while he was talking with a cashier. That day the attacker killed four people in Carcassonne and in the Super U supermarket in Trèbes. He was shot dead by the GIGN gendarmerie unit during the assault, so there was no trial.
