Alexandra was born in Lebanon. She worked at a home for unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors in Mölndal because, according to her cousin, she wanted to "do good". Her mother said after her death: "She was my angel."
What happened
On Monday 25 January 2016, Alexandra was alone on shift when a resident attacked her with a knife. She later died in hospital. The court did not find intent to kill proven and convicted him of gross assault and gross negligent homicide. The Court of Appeal upheld forensic psychiatric care and expulsion with a re-entry ban until 2031.
