Ten Teenagers Kick 14-Year-Old in the Head Outside His School — and Film It
A 14-year-old boy was beaten and kicked by a group of youths outside a secondary school in Frankfurt (Oder) on Wednesday. The attackers filmed it themselves. Police are investigating ten suspects aged 13 to 15 for dangerous bodily harm and robbery.

Ten against one, kicks to the head, a phone camera running. The video now circulating on social media shows a boy being pressed, hit and kicked outside the Kleist secondary school in Frankfurt (Oder) on Wednesday 14 October, and the attackers carrying on after he falls to the ground.
The victim is 14 and suffered facial injuries, the Brandenburg police East directorate said. Police consider the video authentic. They are investigating ten young suspects aged between 13 and 15 for dangerous bodily harm and robbery. Some were detained during lessons on Thursday at another school, the Hutten secondary school, which several of the suspects attend. Police also warned that sharing violent clips online can itself be a crime.
“Dieses Ausmaß an organisierter Jugendgewalt hatten wir bisher in Frankfurt (Oder) nicht. Und wir werden das in unserer Stadt nicht dulden.”
“We have never had this scale of organised youth violence in Frankfurt (Oder) before. And we will not tolerate it in our city.”
— Axel Strasser (independent), Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder)

“Regardless of nationality”
Police say some of the suspects are foreign nationals. Brandenburg’s social affairs minister René Wilke (SPD), a former mayor of the city, said the attack made him “dismayed and angry” and called for the new legal options to strip protection status and end residence to be used, as in similar cases in Potsdam: whoever spreads insecurity here “cannot invoke insecurity in his country of origin”. Mayor Axel Strasser said the authorities must act firmly “regardless of the country of origin”.
The case has become national news. AfD leader Alice Weidel shared the clip on X, calling it shocking and describing the attackers as ten mostly migrant youths; she said only her party would deliver a turn in migration policy. Police, the city and the schools authority are now holding security talks.
What happens next
Watch for charges against the ten suspects and whether any lose their residence or protection status.
