Sweden Mapped Welfare Billions to Gangs. Denmark, the Headline Says, Has No Overview
On 1 September 2026 @FrFrederikke posted a Frihedsbrevet illustration: a balaclava in the Swedish colours, and this line in white type:
«I Sverige har de kortlagt, at velfærdsmilliarder ender hos bander: Herhjemme har vi intet overblik.»
“In Sweden they have mapped out that welfare billions end up with gangs: At home we have no overview.”
Her own sentence under the picture was short. What a cultural enrichment. She almost dared not think how much money leaves Scandinavia because of MENAPT immigrants. MENAPT is her word on the post. It is not in the Försäkringskassan table I opened.
The Swedish mapping exists. On 27 November 2025 Försäkringskassan published, with the joint authority operation against organised crime, a second partial analysis. About 4,000 of Sweden’s then roughly 62,000 gang-linked individuals were receiving a basic livelihood from sickness benefit, sickness compensation or labour-market support. Over time, the three benefits paid to those people came to 3.6 billion kronor. Director-general Nils Öberg said gang criminals use the social insurance as a basic income and a façade of white money.
I have not opened the Frihedsbrevet article itself. The PDF from Försäkringskassan is the document I can check. The Danish half of the headline — that Denmark has no equivalent overview — is the paper’s claim as printed on the graphic. I do not invent a Danish table to match it.
Sweden counted. Denmark, if the line is right, has not. The money still leaves the account.
